Where does the time go?

In dealing with running your own company and the wonderful nuances of Windows and third party software you find yourself wondering where the time went. We have not had much time to post recently because we have been busy talking with a third party software developer to allow our customer to use the product like they used to.
At LightSpeed Technologies we also have been talking to folks who would like to see LightSpeed become one of the premier technology training companies in Ohio. They would like to find us some grants that will allow us to grow our business while providing vital training to all who need it.
We have found that we as Americans have become a third world country as far as being technology savvy. We are the first ones to admit to everyone and anyone that we are computer illiterate. We hear the same excuse over and over for the last 10 years "I know nothing about computers, you are talking Greek to me please stop and just fix it". 10 years ago when people were using Windows 95 and Windows 98 it was acceptable to admit their technology phobia. Now it is no longer acceptable for us as Americans to become a third world country when it comes to our TI Technology Ignorance.
We need to provide vital training to our children, workforce and veterans allowing them the advantage to find an entry level position with a technology driven company.
We need to stop complaining about our jobs going to India and China. We need to show companies that if they want to start creating more jobs locally we have the technological workforce for them. We need to show the world again why America is great.
Get on your butt sit down and research something on Google now.
Next week we will be offering an educational webinar on how to start a Network in a box company in your town. Sign up now for space is limited to the first 100 participants.
Please respond to sales@LSTI.net for more information on webinars and how to be an ISP in the Ma Bell era of a monopolistic communications industry.

2/5/07
Today started out with -4 degrees at 4.30am. No school for the last two days. Today we delivered a laptop that was purchased for a customer. 72 updates needed done. That certainly seems like a lot and it is. Most people will not do the updates and will not install any Anti-Virus other than the free 6 month trial offer.
BBB requested a Wireless Internet connection so that they may do VOIP on 10 phone lines. They also want to set up a VPN with their West Virginia office. However they wish not to pay the $500 install and trade it off for a BBB account.
Does anybody have a computer question?
